So, what is the difference here?  A Bathroom vanity is a combination of a sink and a cabinet while obviously the bathroom cabinet is just a cabinet. Aside from the storage it provides, it also keeps the plumbing hidden as well as saves a lot of space in your bathroom. However, if you need a bigger area for your towels and other bathroom stuff, you may want to put up a bathroom cabinet.

• Wall cabinets – These cabinets are attached to the wall. It may have shelves and 2 doors and could have a mirror at the front door.
• Corner cabinets – Another space saver storage that can be placed, hung, or mounted at the tiny angled part of your bathroom.
• Sink cabinets – this is usually referred to as a vanity unit that has a sink and a cabinet underneath it and makes a great space saver.
• Tall cabinets – the name speaks for itself. It is a slim  bathroom cabinet that stands as tall as you or even taller with 3 to 5 shelves. It also saves up a lot of space.
• Mirrored cabinets - These are the widely used cabinets for the bathroom. It is a multi-functional cabinet. You are able to check yourself in the mirror and at the same time, store your bathroom needs inside.
• Stainless steel mirror cabinets - The steel gives the  bathroom cabinet a more sleek and stunning appearance.
• Wooden cabinets – This kind of cabinet gives your bathroom a natural feel in it. It is classy and sophisticated looking, and blends well with your other wooden furniture.

All of these cabinets are designed to save space in your bathroom being the smallest area in the house. Think about your theme , and decide which of these types would suit your needs.
